IMPORTANT: IF COLOURS ARE CRITICAL ALWAYS SEND A COLOUR PROOF ALONG WITH ANY COLOUR MATCHES YOU REQUIRE.

It is not always possible to match pantone colours using CMYK printers. Our printers and media are carefully calibrated but if no colour proof is provided we can only print what is supplied on disk.

Artwork Setup:


  • Supply single page quark document at 1/4 size. We will split into individual panels prior to printing.
  • End panels form semi circles so the back half of this panel will not be seen from the front.
  • Avoid small text crossing over panel joins as this makes lining up panels very difficult.

Please supply:

  • A Mac formatted Quark express file at 1/4 size, supplied complete with all 3rd party extensions and images.
  • A colour printed visual for reference
  • Any colour reference that you may require us to match to.
  • All scans should be placed in the 1/4 size document at around 300dpi at 100%.(approx 30mb/square m) Supplied as CMYK tiffs.
  • Logos - for best results these should be supplied as vector images saved as EPS files. Bitmaps (tiff, jpg) will deteriorate the larger it gets.
  • Fonts - Unless you are supplying fonts (screen and printer version) please convert text to outline.
  • Proofs and colour matching - it is not always possible to match pantone colours using CMYK printers. If no colour reference is provided we have no idea what your colours should look like and can only print direct from disk. If colour is critical you must provide a print out or pantone colour reference.
  • Formats: CD-ROM, Zip (100mb) Jaz (2gb) ISDN
  • All prices are for printing your graphics direct from a ready to print disk. Additional MAC time is charged at £65 / hour.
  • Software packages: Quark express 6.5, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe illustrator CS2,indesign CS2, Freehand 8, Page maker.
